This Girl Can is back with a new advert to encourage women to be active despite the challenges of coronavirus (Covid-19).
The campaign's new video revisits some of the brilliant women who featured in January’s ‘Me Again’ film and introduces new stories from women who are working activity into their lives and routines as a result of the virus.
Research from Sport England shows that women have a clear appetite to get active again, with 52% of women saying that, since the outbreak, they've found new ways to be active. They’re also placing a great importance on being active and are very aware of the important mental health benefits it can bring.
However, while that may be the case, we know that exercise regimes have been disrupted due to the pandemic and it's been difficult for many women to prioritise exercise.
The refreshed advertising features women from the original ‘Me Again’ campaign, as well as some new faces, and shows them fitting activity into their own lives, in their own way, in their own time. View the new TV ad below.
