We are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the Royal Family and her loved ones.
The government has published National Mourning Guidance following the death of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The guidance recognises that mourning is very personal, and it is anticipated that individuals, families, communities, and organisations may want to mark Her Majesty’s demise in their own way.
There's no formal obligation for organisations or national governing bodies (NGBs) to postpone or cancel sporting fixtures or events, at either elite or grassroots level, between now and the State Funeral.
Instead, it's up to the discretion of individual organisations and sports to consider how they should proceed during the mourning period.
