Our journey to becoming a climate friendly organisation is ongoing and we are learning all the time. There is more to do but here are some of the changes we have made so far to reduce our impact on the planet.
- Switching to agile / remote working to reduce the carbon footprint of our travel by 80%.
- Holding our weekly meetings at a low-carbon facility, The Aura Innovation Centre.
- Switching from t-shirts to reusable bibs to reduce waste at events.
- Reducing single use bottles/plastic at events.
- Recycling old laptops and phones and gifting our office furniture to a local charity.
- Reducing our printing by over 85%.
- Formed an internal climate group to continue pushing for progress.
- Staff made individual pledges e.g planting vegetables, cycling instead of driving.
