Fitmums & Friends and Curly’s Athletes partner for Normanby Hall 10k 2023
Hull, 22 March 2023 – Local athletics club and charity, Fitmums & Friends is excited to be the official charity partner for the Normanby Hall 10k 2023, organised by Curly’s Athletes. Partnering with this popular race will help the charity raise funds to continue its work to support everyone to be more active and feel more connected through its range of friendly and supportive activity sessions.
The Normanby Hall 10k (or the Norman Bee) is back for its seventh year on Sunday 9 July 2023. Starting on the idyllic Normanby Hall Estate in the heart of North Lincolnshire, the race takes participants along a 10k route through pretty villages before finishing back in front of the magnificent main hall. In addition to supporting Fitmums & Friends, the event also helps pollinators by giving every participant a packet of bee-friendly wildflower seeds to take home and plant.
Jonathan Frary, director of Curly’s Athletes, explains why Fitmums & Friends was chosen as the official charity partner of this year’s race: “Curly’s Athletes is really excited to be partnering with the amazing Fitmums & Friends for the Normanby Hall 10k 2023. It’s the perfect partnership: Fitmums & Friends is an incredibly inspiring charity which supports people of all abilities to improve their fitness and socialise, finding new friends along the way; Curly’s exists to inspire people into physical activity and to provide fundraising and awareness opportunities for charities. So we love being able to support Fitmums & Friends in their vision. And we expect to have some fun along the way!”
