Exciting Updates for Local Parks in 2024 to Celebrate Love Parks Week!

In celebration of Love Parks Week, we are thrilled to share a series of exciting updates and developments across parks in North East Lincolnshire, Hull, North Lincolnshire, and East Riding for 2024. These initiatives showcase the commitment to enhancing green spaces, promoting community engagement, and fostering sustainability.

North East Lincolnshire Parks

? Tennis Court Renovations: Newly upgraded tennis courts are now open, offering enhanced recreational facilities for residents to enjoy. These improvements aim to provide a better experience for tennis enthusiasts and encourage more people to participate in the sport.

? Clee Fields Development: Exciting new developments are underway at Clee Fields, aimed at making the area more accessible and enjoyable for the community. This project reflects a commitment to improving local amenities and ensuring that everyone can benefit from these green spaces.

? Festival of the Sea: Held on June 22 in Cleethorpes, this festival promoted cultural and environmental awareness, thanks to a grant from Arts Council England. The event was a great success, drawing attention to the importance of protecting our marine environments.

Hull Parks

Hull is making significant strides in enhancing its green spaces with several exciting projects:

North Lincolnshire Parks

East Riding Parks

? Green Flag Awards: Beverley Westwood and Humber Bridge Country Park have been recognized for their excellence in maintenance and environmental standards, demonstrating a commitment to providing high-quality green spaces.

? Community Initiatives: New play areas, improved accessibility, and tree planting projects are making our parks more enjoyable and sustainable. These initiatives aim to enhance the user experience and promote environmental stewardship.

? Events and Activities: Regular family-friendly activities at Beverley Westwood and Humber Bridge Country Park promote outdoor recreation and community engagement, ensuring that these parks remain vibrant hubs for social interaction.

? Tennis Court Renovations: Works on the Withernsea Tennis Courts are set to start in September, further enhancing recreational opportunities in the area.
