They currently deliver two weekly seated exercise sessions designed to support people living with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions. These take place on Tuesdays from 2–3pm and Fridays from 1–2pm, providing regular opportunities for participants to stay active in a safe and supportive environment.
The sessions focus on gentle, guided movements that help to improve mobility, balance, coordination, and confidence. Just as importantly, they offer a social space where people can connect, have fun and feel part of a welcoming community. Music plays a big part in the sessions, creating a positive and uplifting atmosphere. Plus participants often enjoy moving to familiar songs, bringing energy and smiles to every class.
Feedback from those attending has been incredibly positive, with many highlighting not only the physical benefits but also the boost to mood and reduction in isolation. The group is very much about going at your own pace, ensuring everyone feels comfortable, included, and supported.
