Active Humber has launched a new animation to help people understand its purpose, the difference it wants to make and how organisations across the Humber can work together to help more people be active.
The short animation introduces Active Humber's role as the Humber's Active Partnership, bringing together organisations, communities and decision-makers to make physical activity part of everyday life.
It explains why being active matters, not just for people's physical and mental health, but for stronger communities, a growing economy and a more sustainable future.
The animation also highlights the importance of making sure everyone has the opportunity to be active, particularly those who face the greatest barriers.
Active Humber chose animation as a simple and engaging way to explain its work, much of which happens behind the scenes.
By using animation rather than traditional video, Active Humber can show the bigger picture and help people understand how its work connects to wider issues such as health, inequalities and community wellbeing.
The animation has been designed to be easy to share, helping introduce Active Humber to new audiences and supporting conversations with existing and potential partners.
