Below you can find some resources aimed at supporting clubs and groups.
Online Learning
Yorkshire and Humber Learning Community
Active Humber, along with colleagues from North Yorkshire Sport and Yorkshire Sport Foundation have developed an online learning website. The workforce within clubs and community groups tell us that they want to continue to learn and develop, but are increasingly struggling to find the time with mounting pressures and commitments. We want to bring you a different way to learn through free, informal bite-size modules. You'll be able to access a range of training from 'Increase your Membership using Facebook' to 'Delivering Engaging Sessions for Women and Girls'. We'll be adding training to the site continually.
Buddle is aimed at any club or community organisation delivering activities that get people moving.
Some organisations will have sport and physical activity as their only focus and others will use them as a way of achieving wider outcomes.
Buddle is free to access and shares the latest information, training, and tools to help overcome challenges and maximise opportunities. Buddle is the rebranded Club Matters website.
The Activity Alliance and delivery partner UK Coaching are delivering live and interactive learning experience led by one of our expert inclusion tutors.
British Blind Sport have partnered with UK Coaching to produce an e-learning course called 'Coaching Blind and Partially Sighted People'. This course raises awareness of the crucial role coaches play in helping people with visual impairments overcome barriers to participate in sport and physical activity. It complements UK Coaching's 'person-centred' principle of great coaching.
UK Coaching have developed a coaching guide to support the #WeAreUndefeatable Campaign. The guide includes resources to help your coaching workforce provide great coaching experiences for everyone including those with long term health conditions.
Our Welfare and Safeguarding pages provide guidance and materials we feel are valuable in supporting clubs to ensure they have all the necessary information, process and procedures in place to safeguard the young people and workforce involved.
