By working with local organisations we are helping to influence the natural and built environment across the Humber region. Here are some of the ways we're getting involved;
EcoFest
Active Humber supported the Humber Eco Fest, held from 22 October to 11 November 2023, to promote environmental engagement and positive action against climate anxiety across the Humber region.
The 21-day event, organised by the Hull-based Creative & Cultural Organisation, showcased the efforts of green groups, artists, and community organisations through various projects.
The festival aimed to inspire and encourage local involvement in climate and nature initiatives, highlighting individuals making impactful contributions to their communities and the planet.
Activities included both online eco-learning sessions with the Association of Sustainability Practitioners and offline events across the four local authorities in the Humber area.
